I saw Numb3rs this morning and I have to say, I LOVED IT! Even my mom said it was a great episode, just like it used to be.

I was soooooo happy that Charlie shaved. He didn't look so... whatever he looked like before. Megan/Larry are making progress, being in the same scene is good. You know what killed me though, that guy they brought into this episode to help Charlie... he was ALL OVER Megan! I was disgusted with that.

I hope they keep up the tenstion between Alan and Amita. Since I don't like her, I like that he's not too fond of things with her and Charlie. It still seems like just yesterday that they (Charlie and Amita) were out on a date and she told him she decided not to take that job. Now, she's at his house, barely dressed. The writers need to re-think that. It's too much, too fast.

I agree! Amita needs to put the breaks on!

Overall, I liked the ep. Much better than the commercials led me to believe. I didn't mind the engineering guy--I knew him from Third Watch and liked him. I actually though his flirting was kinda cute. It seems Megan did too. ;)

Now if Larry would just find a razor and David needs a diet! Our little math genius has a big ol' gut this year!

She's to the being sleazy point.

I loved it. It was cool, not too confusing, not too much blood and guts. Really? I thought she seemed sorta creeped out. I might have to watch it again since I have it recorded...

Larry needs to get out of monk-mode. Seriously, they've got everything they're going to get out of that story line.

I haven't noticed Charlie being bigger. I'll have to watch for that....

Yeah, she's definitely into the sleeze mode. I thought better of Charlie. But I also know how it can feel to have something you want so badly to finally be yours and willingly overlook stuff. I think they're writing what they are just to have a point of contention between Charlie and his dad. And I'm not a fan.

I agree, Larry needs to get out of Monk-mode. Like 3 weeks ago.

Charlie is NOT thin anymore. Granted, every season, the first few eps, he's bigger. But this time.... I'm just surprised. I'm huge, so I'm not the pot calling the kettle black, but it is noticeable.

Usually that's when I show is about to go out... when the main character finally gets the girl. (Aka... JAG) I hope that's not the case.

I'm not a fan of problems between Charlie and Alan. I just like that he doesn't like her much.

All that monk crap is too much. Poor Megan!

I shall check him out next week. My mom hasn't noticed that he's bigger either.

Well, they've done a fairly decent job of camouflage, but the gut is still there.

I'm not a fan of Amita and all it entails. I feel like she's the "token girlfriend" and I can do without it.

Mel was a JAG fan. Me? Not so much. But I saw a few.

I think Megan has some issues of her own that she needs to come clean with about her time gone. ;)

Like I've said, I go into a daze when I see Don or Charlie. lol

I don't see them getting rid of her any time soon though.

I liked JAG. I watched it when I got around to it.

I'm dying to know what that was all about.

Megan's story should be a good one. At least after all this time, it should be.

Mel liked Harm and Mac. I was only watching when I had to. ;)

Dad's up with heartburn. *sigh*
cyclonicblast From: cyclonicblast Date: October 17th, 2007 12:58 am (UTC) (Link)
Yes it should be! I can't wait. They'd better not drag it out much longer though.

The female side of my family LOVED Harm. It was good to see him back on TV on Close to Home. But he wasn't enough to save the show. (I never watched it.)

*hugs* How's he doing otherwise? Is he getting more rest?

Mel was a Mac fan. ;)

Dad's still weak and is making me insane! He got up earlier than I did and took my car up to the pharmacy to get his meds! Even though I told him I would! And I was up at 10:15! So I asked him how he felt after that and he said, "I'm a little dizzy". NO SHIT!!!!!!!!! I've hidden my keys.

He's already made me cry once before lunch too. Not to mention all the rest of his shit with his "girlfriend". My life is just making me sick right now.

I was all for the Harm/Mac thing. But them NOT getting together, made the show keep going.

Ugh! I'm glad you've hidden them and that nothing bad happened. That could have been bad.

*hugs* I'm sorry Ara. I'm here for you, anything I can do, let me know.

Yes, dad does NOT need to be driving yet. *sigh* But it's like tying down a 10 year old. OY!

I know Don (Bellisario) didn't want the "Moonlighting Curse"--putting Harm and Mac together--but it did tend to get a tad frustrating after a time. I'm still pissed at Don over the COMPLETELY SUCK-ASS ENDING to Quantum Leap. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Adults, especially older ones, like their driving. It gives them a sense of independence and they hate to have that taken away. It's the same thing with my grandpa.

It was definitely frustrating. I was happy it wasn't like that with Numb3rs, but now I'm wishing it was.
araestel From: araestel Date: October 18th, 2007 03:15 am (UTC) (Link)
Yes, I do know they fiercely guard their independence and I get why. Still, there are times that they need to let others help when they offer. HELLO--Sitting right here, dad! GAH!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't even remember what the preview was for this weeks show, But then again, after all that's gone on, I'm lucky I remember my name ;)
cyclonicblast From: cyclonicblast Date: October 18th, 2007 03:34 am (UTC) (Link)
Hopefully he'll be back to normal so it doesn't happen again.

I don't remember either, actually... LMAO... actually this moment, preview came on. Something about the apostles or something, I missed it.
