My wife won't let me do that to the home laptop computer, since its hers, and you can guess the the leeway on the one at work is kind of narrow. Even though I have seen some pretty wicked stuff floating around here.
I will probably buy my own home computer next year.

We all have to be very careful what we do on our computers because of bored people creating worms, trojans and such. But to now have to worry about purchased, factory produced stuff? Unthinkable and malicious on their part.

I won't be buying *anything* Sony again--at least not until this is resolved.

As to what I end up buying, maybe a Dell or an HP or a Toshiba. I have no idea. I see what is on Sale.hahahah

I have an HP and we have a Dell laptop and roommie has the Mac-Daddy of Toshiba's. She LOVES her pc. And mine has been working for about 6 years now, so HP works too. The only problem with Dell is the prices sound good until you start adding in ram and storage, etc. and then their prices are about as good as everyone else's. It's not an easy thing picking out a pc. Good luck!
