I lived with a guy who was the KING of procrastinating. And I had to bail him out so many times while he was in college, I changed my ways. That's what motivates me to do stuff when I get it--him, and the fact shit invariably happens. ;)

At least he made you change for the better.

Oh yes. It always happens. lol

True! And I just didn't want to deal with the physical aspects of procrastinating. ;)

Oh yeah, that can wreck your body.

I pulled an "all-nighter" with him once and my knees were swollen like grapefuit! And I was like 25! So no way would I be able to do that now!

Wow! All-nighters are killer, no matter how old you were. I used to do those a lot when I was 16-18, then it started making me so sick, that I just couldn't do it anymore.

Exactly! I have too many physical issues to do it--then or now.

I do too. I figure though, I'm about due for one. I have so many issues with getting to sleep at night. It's getting harder and harder for me to get to sleep, even though I'm on medication that should knock me out. One of these nights, I'm just not going to be able to get to sleep at all.

I wish I had someone who would prescribe something to help me sleep. Not like I haven't asked for it. And I can't take anything over the counter because I have asthma. So many, many sleepless nights for me.

No one will prescribe something for you? Do you mind if I ask why? (You don't have to answer.)

Hell if I know! I'm on assistance because I'm not able to work, but they won't give me social security and I've been fighting for it for years. Other than the fact that we the "uninsured" and "on assistance" aren't given a shit about.

That's so wrong! I'm actually going to be uninsured in a year or so, which will be bad, because I have a lot of medical issues and I'm on a lot of medications.

Was it just one doctor? Could you try going to another one?

I'm sorry. *hugs*

No, it's been three doctors now. And I just don't have the resources to go anywhere else, nor would any of them take me without insurance. For problems like this, this country really sucks.

That's horrible. I'm sorry. I might know how you feel in a year or so, because I'll be losing my insurance under my dad. So I have to do something before then.

*hugs*

If there's a way to get or keep insurance--do it! Trust me. And if you have a doctor, ask if they'll keep you after you no longer have insurance. Many will.

*hugs*
