Birthday and E-Town
You guys are *truly* the best ever! I have such a wonderful flist! *hugs and smoochies to you all* I received so many warm wishes and cards--if you want to see--check out my memories. There are so many people I need to thank, it honestly would take me forever to name every single one of you. But know you're all loved and appreciated.

For those of you who know my snow/birthday lament--no it finally DID NOT snow on me on my birthday. Four years it hasn't out of too many to say. LOL So I'll try to take that as an omen for the year.

And yes, I did see "Elizabethtown" again at the theatre--NUMBER 17!

So it got me to wondering about the cover art and songs on the second soundtrack.

Well, I am glad to hear it! There are very few things I can say I have seen that many times, and none in the theater! *G*

You are very deserving of a good birthday, I am glad you had one!

And yeah, in Utah. It's different here. I liked Salt Lake well enough, I am about four hours south of it now though and it's...different. Ah well, at least there are pretty mountains.

Good Lord,WHERE are you still finding it playing in a theatre??

I live in a good-sized metropolis, and it's been gone from everywhere here for quite awhile, unfortunately.**sobs**

Glad you are getting to see it,tho and hope you had a great birthday!!
araestel From: araestel Date: January 29th, 2006 10:42 pm (UTC) (Link)
Thanks honey!!

It's at the second run theatre here in Louisville: http://www.apextheatres.com/nowplaying.html#name

I saw it 12 times at the first run and was told by one of the managers here that "National Treasure" stayed there *four months* after the dvd release. So I may have a few yet. ;)

Oh, I'm so happy to see that they're releasing a second soundtrack! Woot! The music was such an integral part of the film and I was very disappointed that not all of the songs were on the soundtrack.

Me too! That's one of the main reasons I love Cameron's work--the music. So when I heard he'd married Nancy Wilson all those years ago, I wasn't in the least bit surprised.

Happy Birthday Arestel! I hope it was truly wonderful and congratulations on viewing number 17! Wish it had stuck around here long enough for me to get into the double digits but no such luck.

Ah well, one more week and we can watch it on DVD anytime I want to. :D Woo!

I did see "Elizabethtown" again at the theatre

do they know your name yet? *snickers* They did mine when I was going every Saturday to go see LoTR: RoTK a few years ago.

They ran it for a week into the DVD release as well. They told me it was going to be the last week and the front guy tell me, "So I guess you won't be back huh?"
araestel From: araestel Date: January 30th, 2006 11:40 am (UTC) (Link)
Both theatre's know me when they see me.... LOL

I'm hoping I'll get to see it *at least* one more time at the theatre before it leaves.
