Use Cleartype

ClearType is best used with laptops and flat screens.

To use ClearType:

Open Display in Control Panel. (To open Display, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.)

On the Appearance tab, click Effects.

In the Effects dialog box, select the 'Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts' check box.

Click ClearType in the list.

Click Okay.

Click Okay again.

(You must have a video card and monitor that support a colour setting of at least 256 colours. Best results are achieved with High colour (24-bit) or Highest colour (32-bit) support. Click the Settings tab to set Colour quality.)(You shouldn't have a problem with this, just make sure it's on 32-bit colour)

Re: Use Cleartype

That's still checked but wav figured it out for me. on the small fonts pallet, there's a tiny " > " on the top fight, click it and it brings up a pulldown menu. I selected "reset character" and everything was fine. Must have been something with the installation. I dunno, but it helped and I'm in hog heaven. LOL Yeah, yeah, I know... I'm easy. ;)
