One of the "substitute people"
Can I substitute for Kirsten?
Let's hear it for Rolling Stone!!
I remember years ago when Rolling Stone laid it all on the line. They've been, for the most part, soft the past few years. Not so soft on this article about Bush and his administration.

I'm just tired of the stupidity and single-minded focus on propagating war. He needs to be stopped before this country is well and truly FUBAR

AMEN! What concerns me is there are so many of us who think he's a complete loser... why isn't there a larger outcry of IMPEACH??? I don't getgt it? We heard more shit for Clinton and him not being able to keep his short-comings in his pants. Makes zero sense to me.

When the columnist Richard Reeves publicized the historians' poll last year and suggested it might have merit, he drew thousands of abusive replies that called him an idiot and that praised Bush as, in one writer's words, "a Christian who actually acts on his deeply held beliefs."

That's because most people trying pass themselves off these days under the "Christian" label don't understand the first thing about Christ - namely, that in order to be his follower, you need to actually subscribe to HIS beliefs and not those espoused in the Old Testament.

I'm just tired of haveing *his* beliefs shoved down *my* throat. In his case--ignorance breeds ignorance. He needs to go.

I must say this was an amazing article. I'm not entirely certain what rock these Bush supporters have been hiding but maybe it's time some people of intelligence came by and showed them the light. The man can't go through a press conference without stumbling over his words looking more and more like an idiot each time. It's time for him and his administration to get out and get some new more intelligent blood in. Thank you for sharing this article. Would you mind if I posted it on my LJ?

He's a complete embarrassment to our country. Every time he opens his mouth, I cringe, wondering what stupid thing he'll say next.

Feel free to post. I think everyone should read it.
